LA PORTE CITY - Lavonne Elizabeth (Youngblut) Corcran, 70, of Bright, Ind., formerly of La Porte City, died Saturday, Jan. 16, at Hospice of Cincinnati.

She was born Jan. 22, 1939, in Waterloo, daughter of Roy and Louise Herman Youngblut. She married Norman R. Corcran on Oct. 14, 1989, in Toledo.

She had been the property manager for Prairie Village in La Porte City for 15 years.

Survived by: her husband; a son, Virgil Gene Thompson Jr. of Ohio; a stepson, Karter Corcran of Marion; a daughter, Brenda (David) Cramer of Bright; a stepdaughter, Kelly (Steve) Jones of Center Point; seven grandchildren, Zach (Patti) Manchester of Chicago, Tim (Shawna) Crile of Cedar Rapids, Samantha Satterlee and Dusty Schlette of Waterloo, Kuyler Cramer of Indiana, Courtney Jones of Center Point and Jaydn Swailes of Des Moines; three great-grandchildren, Reece, Tyler and Jackson; a brother, Kenny (Beverly) Youngblut of Jesup; three sisters, Charlotte (Chuck) Hitchins of Texas, Janice (Tom) Lee of La Porte City and Patty (Lee) Neese of California; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Preceded in death by: her parents, Louise and Roy Youngblut; a daughter, Toni Schlette; and a sister, Betty Gardner.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Heartland Community Church, La Porte City, with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Inurnment will be in Dysart Cemetery at a later date. La Porte City Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to Heartland Community Church/The Lord's Food Pantry, La Porte City.
