WATERLOO - Florence M. Christoffer, 82, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Jan. 10, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center after a brief illness.

She was born Jan. 23, 1927, in Waverly, daughter of Joseph and Emma Vollbrecht Sudol. She married LaVerne J. Christoffer on April 13, 1947, in Tripoli, and they later divorced.

Ms. Christoffer was employed at Siebert's Laundry for 20 years, retiring in 1989.

Survived by: three sons, David (Beth) and Dennis (Judy), both of Lansing, and Don (Chris) of Evansdale; two daughters, Diane (Ed) Seitz of Lansing and Darlene (Rick) Parker of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a grandchild.

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
