WASHBURN - Douglas J. Hosper, 52, of Washburn, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

He was born Jan. 22, 1957, in Waterloo, son of William Robert and Mary Margaret O’Connor Hosper.

He was employed with Waterloo Implement for several years, then with Turf and Trail, and later returned to Waterloo Implement.

Survived by: two daughters, Allison and Amanda Hosper, both of Cedar Falls; and a brother, Robert of Hudson.

Preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother, Michael.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today and an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.
