WATERLOO, IOWA - George W. Wolfgram, 70, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born Oct. 1, 1939, in New Hampton, Iowa, son of George and Orpha Schmidt Wolfgram. He married Carol Fry on Aug. 19, 1966.
Mr. Wolfgram worked at Alstadt & Langlas Bakery for 33 years, retiring in 1999.
Survived by: his wife; three daughters, Iranae Austin of Carlisle, Pa., Diane (Michael) Hackert of Winthrop and Kathleen Barnes of Williamstown, Pa.; a son, Gregory; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Estella (Darwin) Boldt of Frederika.
Preceded in death by a son, Gary; and an infant daughter, Laurie.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Evansdale, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home.
