WATERLOO - Florence E. Weisert, 95, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, at Rosewood Estate of natural causes.

She was born April 13, 1914, in Elma, daughter of Henry and Rosetta Gibson Eschweiler. She married Robert Glenn Weisert on Nov. 30, 1931, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waterloo. He died March 8. 2004.

Mrs. Weisert was a clerk at Garrabrant Jewelry Store, La Porte City, for 16 years, then worked at Matt Parrott Printers and Lithographers for many years as a bindery operator. She later was in charge of payroll checks for the Matt Parrott Co., retiring in 1981. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

Survived by: nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: five brothers, William, Roy, Henry, Jose and Cleo Eschweiler; and three sisters, Nellie Cenek, Cora Bennett and Grace in infancy.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Ascension Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials: may be directed to the church or Valley Lutheran Middle and High School.
