WATERLOO - Patrick J. Casey, 64, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born Sept. 16, 1945, in Waterloo, son of Maurice and Alverna Mae Weber Casey. He married Judith Tix on Dec. 4, 1965, in Waterloo. They later divorced.

Mr. Casey was employed with School Bus Sales for 24 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survived by: a son, Michael (Jennifer) of Cedar Rapids; two grandsons, Benjamin and Samuel Casey, both of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Mary Dwyer of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Maureen Jensen; a brother, Dennis; and a son, Patrick.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, where full military rites will be conducted by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
