CEDAR FALLS — Karen Grace Hanneman, 68, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community, Waverly, from complications of a stroke.

She was born Dec. 2, 1941, in Cresco, daughter of Floyd H. and Grace L. Hanni Williams. She married Duane E. Hanneman on Dec. 30, 1962, in Cresco.

Mrs. Hanneman graduated from Cresco High School and attended Luther College, Decorah. In addition to being a homemaker, she was employed by the Davis Paint and Sherwin-Williams stores in Cedar Falls, retiring in 2000.

Survived by: her husband; a son, Steve (Kristin) of Marshall, Minn.; three daughters, Carmen (Matt) Morgan of Waterloo, Laureen (Dusty) Trent of Ankeny, and Allison (Dan) Staudt of Marble Rock; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, Darrell (Mary Lou) Williams of Marion.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Myrtle.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel, Cedar Falls, with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Cresco. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice, Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community, Hartman Reserve or the family.
