WATERLOO - Monica Cain, 76, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born May 4, 1933, in Sioux City, daughter of Hazel Simons Kussatz. She married Eugene Cain on Dec. 26, 1951, in Waterloo. He died Nov. 22, 2007.

Mrs. Cain graduated from Waterloo East High School and was self-employed at Monica’s Permits.

Survived by: a son, Randy (Carrie) Cain of Henning, Minn.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Kussatz of Urbandale and Roger (Joan) Kussatz of Cedar Falls; a sister, Karen (David) Bibb Pierce of Waterloo; a sister-in-law, Evon Kussatz of Lincoln, Neb.; and a special relative, Clete Simons of Topeka, Kan.

Preceded in death by: two sons, Mike and Brian “Frank.”

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with inurnment at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to the family or Cedar Valley Hospice.
