WATERLOO - Ethel M. Jacoby Moorman, 51, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Nov. 22, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.

She was born Dec. 17, 1957, in Cedar Falls, daughter of George Fair and Doris E. Schmidt Jacoby. She married Ron Moorman on Nov. 15, 2006, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Moorman graduated from Cedar Falls High School and went on to earn a paralegal degree.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Justin Jacoby of Cedar Falls and John Jacoby of Waterloo; two brothers, Jim (Sue) and Don (Kayleen) Jacoby, both of Waterloo; and a sister, Mary (Sonny) Nolan of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister, Ann Marie Jacoby.

Family-directed memorial Services: 2:30 p.m. Friday at Country View community room, with inurnment at a later date. Refreshments to follow the memorial services. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, assisted the family.

Ethel enjoyed music, playing her guitar and drawing. She loved to write and kept busy writing in her journal. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
