WATERLOO - Robert William Granberg, 71, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, Nov. 23.

He was born March 12, 1938, in Oshkosh, Wis., son of Norman and Ruth Sloan Granberg. He married Charolette Jean Stoner on June 20, 1959, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, and they later divorced. He married Bernice Storms, and they later divorced.

Mr. Granberg graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1955, and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked at John Deere northeast site as a supervisor, retiring in 1994.

Survived by: two daughters, Jill (Tom) Kleppe of Harpers Ferry and Gwen (Larry) Lee of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; a son, Todd (JoDee) of Oelwein; six grandchildren; a brother, Dietrich (Dianna) Becker of Galesburg, Ill.; and three sisters, Sandra and Karen Granberg, both of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mary Rose Anderson of Carrollton, Texas.

Preceded in death by: his former wife, Charolette; a grandson; and three brothers, Dave Becker, Richard Granberg and Charles Becker.

Memorial Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, with inurnment in Woodlawn Cemetery, both in Oelwein. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
