TAYLOR, BROWN, HILDEBRAND, LETOURNEAU, BATHKE

WATERLOO - William Lee Taylor Sr., 59, of Lamar, Ark., formerly of Waterloo and Independence, died at home Nov. 10.

He was born April 23, 1950, in Oelwein, son of Robert Sr. and Ruth Brown Taylor. He married Coreine Hildebrand on July 6, 1973, and they later divorced.

Mr. Taylor had been employed at Empire Engines, Waterloo, and Hanna Masonry, Independence, before moving to Arkansas, where he was employed for more than 20 years at Tysons, Clarksville, Ark.

Survived by: two sons, Jerry of Waterloo and William Jr. of Lamar; two daughters, Christie Letourneau of Waterloo and Heather Taylor of Independence; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Richard of Reinbeck and James (Kenda Baych) of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law, Alice Taylor of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his parents; his stepfather, William Bathke; and three brothers, Robert Jr., John and Jerry B.

Graveside committal Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. Roller Cox Funeral Chapel, Clarksville, was in charge of arrangements.
