TROUTWINE, HARRIS, MCCIAREN

Howard D. Troutwine, 33; of 2074 Locke Ave., died at Schoitz Memorial hospital at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday of acute leukemia. He had resided here since 1954 and prior to that had lived at Boone, la. :

Mr. Troutwine was a truck driver for the street department of the city of Waterloo for five years. He had served in the Army during the Korean way. He was a member of Grace Brethren church.

Mr. Troutwine was born on April 6, 1932, in Boone, the son of Canada and Hannah Harris Troutwine. On Jan. 29, 1955 in Cedar Falls he was married to Deloris McCIaren.

Surviving are his widow, five sons, Steven, 9; Randy, 8; Terry, 6; Larry, 5; Gary, 3, all at home; eight brothers, Roy of Lewistown, Ida.; Alanzo of Dayton, la.; Harley of Moline, Illinois; William of Olho, la.; Donand aid of Rt. 2; Lawrence and James of Cleveland, Illinois; and Francis of Colona, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Maxine Bass of 2015 Lafayette St.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Friends may call at the Capel of Memories East after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
