WATERLOO - Martha E. Davis Wrage McKenna, 93, of Waterloo, formerly of rural Hudson, died Monday, Oct. 19, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 30, 1916, in Guilford, Mo., daughter of Robert Logan and Onetta Alice McCoppin Davis. On Jan. 6, 1937, she married Harry Wrage. He died Feb. 3, 1944. She then married John McKenna on June 24, 1947. He died April 10, 2005.

Mrs. McKenna graduated in 1934 from Hudson High School, then worked in other people's homes caring for their families. She and her husband John farmed south of Hudson. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Blessing of rural Hudson until it closed and then was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.

Survived by: three daughters, Lovelle (James) Pedersen of Hudson, Elaine (Gale) Boylan of Jacksonville, Fla., and Alice (Richard) Holloway of Blanchard, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Rowena Wilson of Merced, Calif.; and a brother-in-law, Rodney Koht of Tempe, Ariz.

Preceded in death by: an infant son, Duane McKenna; four brothers, William, Maynard, J.D. and Curtis Davis; and two sisters, Helen Koht and Eva Fern Davis.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Eagle Center, with burial in Blessing Cemetery, rural Hudson. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. Scripture service. Visitation also an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or Don Bosco Building Fund.

Martha's hobbies included gardening and tending to her flowers, sewing, baking and cooking. Every family member holds dear a special dish that Martha used to cook for them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
