WATERLOO - Dorothy Serena Davis, 79, of 146 N. Barclay St., died Monday, Oct. 19, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Toone, Tenn., daughter of Sam and Alice Cox Crisp. She married Johnnie Lee Davis in 1965 in Preston, Minn.

Mrs. Davis was employed in the cafeteria at Schoitz Memorial Hospital for many years until retirement.

Survived by: her husband; and a brother, Luvell Crisp of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, the Rev. Christopher Crisp and Marvin Crisp; and a sister, Sadie Walker.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Antioch Baptist Church, with burial in Fairvew Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Greer Funeral Home and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 146 N. Barclay St., where they will receive friends.
