WATERLOO - Marilyn E. Kobliska, 73, of Waterloo, died Friday, Oct. 9, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Bremer county, daughter of Lloyd and Elsbeth Jolley Moore. She graduated from Denver High School in 1954 and was employed with Covenant Medical Center in housekeeping and for the last 10 years was a volunteer for the Hawkeye Community College Senior Companion Program.

Survived by: two sons, Jim (Marsha) of Elk Run Heights and Mike (Sheila) of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Sue (David) Weber of Waterloo and Kathy (Mike) Matias of Marion; 10 grandchildren, Brooke Kobliska, Tyler and Luke Kobliska, Jon and Mitchell Matias, Nicole and Chelsea Cox, Lindsay, Rachael, and Daniel Weber; two brothers, Richard (Jean) Moore of Waterloo and Jim Moore of Davenport.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and an infant brother, Robert Moore.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Assembly of God Church, Elk Run Heights, with burial in Mount Vernon Township Cemetery, rural Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to Faith Assembly of God Church or Especially For You/A Breast Cancer Fund.
