Word has been received of the recent death of Clarence A. Vittum, Cedar Rapids resident until he and Mrs. Vittum moved to Mena, Ark., four years ago.

Born at Reinbeck March 4, 1883, Mr. Vittum moved to Cedar Rapids in 1918, farming five miles west of the city until his retirement in 1947.

Surviving, besides his wife, Lulu, are four children, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
