Funeral services for Mrs. Missouri Libby, widow of Lewis Libby, who died Saturday at 10 p.m. at the home of her son, T. L. Libby, 410 Sunnyside avenue, at the age of 86, will be Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. in Petersen Bros.’ chapel. Rev. A. P. Blough, pastor of Church of the Brethren, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood.

Mrs. Libby was born Nov. 7, 1841, in Somerset county, Penn. In 1864 she came to Iowa with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Speicher, who settled in Allamakee county. She came to Waterloo in 1866 and was married to Mr. Libby in 1876. For a number of years they conducted the American house, an early day hotel located on the site of Hotel Russell-Lamson. Mr. Libby died in 1902.
Surviving are two sons, T. L. Libby, Waterloo, and John L. Libby, Minneapolis; also four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
