Marie Keul

Funeral servies for Mrs. Victor J. (Marie) Keul, 69, of Tracy, Minnesota, were held Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic church there, with interment at St. Mary's Calvary Cemetery. She died on Sunday February 15, 1981, in a Minneapolis, Minnesota, hospital.

Marie Besh was born December 19, 1911 at Denver, Iowa, and graduated from high school in Waterloo, Iowa. She completed nurse's training at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and took her public health training in Cleveland, Ohio.

A registered nurse, she served as the public health nurse for Lyon county, for two different periods before and during World War II.

She married Victor Keul on June 29, 1940, in Iowa City. They moved to Tracy in 1946.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, James of Tracy, and Thomas of Minneapolis; three granchildren; one sister Florence Wheeler of Waterloo, and two brothers, Charles of Denver, Iowa, and Ted of Livingston, Alabama.
