Mrs. John Goranson

Mrs. John Goranson, 64, died at her home at 141 Newell street at 10 a.m. Friday of influenza and complications. She had been ailing for the past seven years.

She was born Sept. 29, 1886, at Montevideo, Minn., and came to Waterloo at the age of 19. She was married to John Goranson here 36 years ago.

She was a member of the Linden Methodist church and its ladies' aid.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Richard at home; three brothers, Andrew of Montevideo, Minn., and Oscar and Melvin of Minneapoli, Minn; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Bandfield, 2116 Lafayette street; Mrs. Sophie Hansen, 1116 Lincoln street; Mrs. Elmer Togerson, 121 Parker street, and Mrs. Claude See, 622 Dawson street.

Her parents, 2 brothers, one sister, a daughter and a son preceded her in death.

The body is a Parrott & Wood funeral home where funeral services will be announced later.
