January 1, 1921George Koch Dies of Burns
Funeral services were pending Monday for George Koch, 62, of 73 Sycamore street, who died Sunday afternoon from injuries received in a serious fire last Dec. 17.
Koch, a roomer in the house at 73 Sycamore street, was taken out of the burning house by firemen who saw him hanging out a second-story window.
He was rushed to Allen Memorial Hospital in the fire department emergency car but he failed to respond to treatment.
Koch suffered burns about the legs, arms and face.
The body is at O'Keefe & Towne funeral home.
