CEDAR FALLS, IOWA-- Dorothy Elizabeth Brush, age 88, of Cedar Falls, died on Sunday, March 30, at Rosewood Estates, Waterloo.

She was born on May 31, 1919, in Hudson, Iowa, the daughter of William H. and Maye Hansen Peimann. She married Earl F. Brush on April 7, 1940, in Cedar Falls. Earl died on November 29, 2006.

Mrs. Brush operated a ceramic shop from her home for a number of years.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Vaughn) Griffith of Cedar Falls and Linda (Tracy) Yost of Redman, Wash.; by three grandchildren, Vaughn (Courtney) Griffith, Mark (Amy) Yost and Sara (Casey) La Croix; and by two great-grandchildren, Catherine Elizabeth Griffith and Graham Hayden Yost.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
