MAYBETH ANETT BROWN

Maybeth Annett Brown, the twelve-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Brown, 236 Center Street, died at 6 a.m. today at Allen Memorial Hospital, from purpura hemorrhagica. She had been ill since January 1st.

Maybeth was born December 24, 1915 at Waterloo, Iowa. She attended fifth grade at John Fiske school, and was enrolled in the Sunday School of St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal church.

Surviving besides her parents are a brother James, and a sister, Grace Joan, at home; also her grandfather, Mrs. Grace Harvey, 236 Center Street.

The body may be viewed all day Tuesday at Petersen Brothers Mortuary. It will be taken to the home Wednesday morning.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, from St. Paul's Church. Rev. George Woodall, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery, Waterloo.

Attended Funeral at Waterloo

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Harvey, R[obert] L. Haire and Mrs. D[aniel] J. Hummel were at Waterloo yesterday to attend the funeral of Maybeth Brown, the 12 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Brown.

Mrs. Raymond Brown was formerly Miss Matilda S. "Tillie" Harvey of this place, and is a niece of Mr. Harvey.
