Last Rites for Mrs. G. Hummel Held Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Guy Hummel, 43, of Cedar Falls, formerly of La Porte City, were held in the Nelson Funeral home, Cedar Falls Saturday; at 1:30 pm. Burial was made in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens north of Cedar Falls.
Mrs. Hummel died early Thursday afternoon from ill health.
As Mildred Wilson, she was born March 27, 1912, to Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Wilson at Brandon. She married Guy Hummel of La Porte City Sept. 21 1931 and resided here until moving to Cedar Falls in 1949.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. John Doeppke, (Marlene), Waterloo and Patricia, at home; four grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers.
Her parents, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
