Deaths - Mrs. Irene Harvey
Ill for the last nine days from intestinal flu and peritonitis, Mrs. Irene Harvey, 24, died at the home, 1441 Sycamore street, at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
Irene Ball was born Aug. 15, 1913, in West Union, Ia., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ball. She came to Waterloo with her parents when she was seven years old and attended the east public schools here. She was married here in 1932 to Willis Harvey. They were later divorced.
Before her illness, she was employed at Neely’s cupboard.Surviving are her parents, at 1441 Sycamore street and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Tull, Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Sam Wood, Salt Lake City, Utah.
The body was taken to the O’Keefe & Towne funeral Home.
