John Secor, 76, Cedar Falls, Dies

Cedar Falls---John Secor, 76, 214 West Fifteenth street, died Sunday at 9a.m. at St. Francis hospital, Waterloo, following an operation for appendicitis. He had been living at the home of his grandson, Carroll Secor, 302 Mobile street, Waterloo, for several months previous to his death.
Born May 4, 1868, at Cedar Falls, the son of Abram and Mary Secor, he married Anna Mathes Sept. 4, 1891. One son survives, John Ray Secor, 214 West Fifteenth street.
Four sisters also survive, Hattie Mathes, Waterloo; Bertha Secor, Cedar Falls; Ella J. Warnick, Kallispell, Mont., and Emma Plummer, Dallas, Ore.
The body is at Brown funeral home.
