WATERLOO - Funeral services for Hazel M. Anderson of rural Waterloo will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov.13, at the First United Methodist Church, Dunkerton, with the Rev. Gerry L. Kahler and the Rev. Dan Miller officiating. Burial will be in Old Barclay Cemetery, rural Jesup. Friends may call from 3 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the White Funeral Home, Jesup.
Mrs. Anderson, 70, died of cancer Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997, at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo.
She was born Aug. 22, 1927, in Black Hawk County, the daughter of Ed and Alma (Cox) Scott. She graduated from Dunkerton High School in 1945. On July 1, 1946, she married James R. Anderson in Nashua.
Survivors include her husband, James; three sons, Daniel of Ear Falls, Ontario, Canada, Tom of Cedar Falls, and Mark of rural Waterloo; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Coletta Meyerhoff of Dunkerton and Mary Lea Chapin of Tripoli.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, John Steven in 1968, and David Scott in 1988; and one sister in infancy.
