Funeral of Mrs. Dodge
The funeral of Mrs. John Dodge who died on Monday, will be held tomorrow morning at 10:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Julia Mansfield, 532 Vermount Street. In the absence of Rev. W. F. Spry of the First M. E. Church, the services will probably be in charge of Rev. W. B. Sandford of the Westminster Presbyterian. The interment will be in Greenwood cemetery, Cedar Falls.
Among the out of town relatives who are here for the funeral or who arrive tonight are, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Len Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mansfield, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rugg of Fort Dodge, Mr. and Mrs. Will Dodge and Mrs. Loren Wall, of Nevada.

ANOTHER IOWA PIONEER CALLED
Mrs. John A. Dodge died this morning. Aged couple had been life partners over 63 years.

Mrs. John A. Dodge, a pioneer of Iowa, most of whose married life was spent at Fort Dodge, died this morning at 3:55 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. Mansfield, 532 Vermont St. with whom she had lived for the past five years.
Mrs. Dodge who was past 80 years of age, had been in good health for one so old until last Thursday, when she was taken sick with double pneumonia. Her husband, to whom she was married over 63 years, survives at the age of 86 years. They celebrated their golden anniversary in Fort Dodge thirteen years ago.

Decedent, whose maiden name was Rachel Alis was born at Perkins, VT, Sept. 19,1831 and was married in Halifax, VT Jan. 10,1849. They soon came west and settled at Fort Dodge, which continued to be their home until they moved to Waterloo, five years ago. In that vicinity, she is especially well known and many old friends will mourn her death.
Two daughters and one son survive. They are. W. S. Dodge of Nevada, Mrs. Harry Carter of Fort Dodge, and Mrs. R. Mansfield, Waterloo. There are also seven grandchildren and one great grandchild surviving. The arrangements for the funeral await the arrival of the out of town relatives.
