This is the wedding Announcement of Lydia Belzer Hunt and Albert Louis Hunt taken from the La Porte City Progress Review, June 25, 1885

Two Hearts That Beat as One

The beautiful and commodious residence of Mr. L. Belzer, and on our most prosperous and substantial farmers, living a mile and a half west of town, was last night opened fo the reception of guests, who came to witness the marriage of their daughter, Lydia to Mr. A. L. Hunt, a popular and flourishing grocer of this city, Rev.. Geo. Eckhard of Cedar Rapids was called upon to perform the ceremony, which was done shortly after 9 o'clock.

It is the sincere belief to all who has the pleasure of an acquaintance with this happy couple, that they are well mated and that they, as far as they are concerned, theirs will be a happy and peaceful life. They have lived among us from childhood and are known far and wide as a lady and gentleman of refinement and culture, Mr.Hunt has a fair start in life for a young man, and is well able to provide a comfortable and pleasant home, and his wife is a lady eminently qualified to adorn it in elegant style. The REVIEW joins a host of friends in wishing them joy, peace and prosperity and hopes they may never live to regret the day they took this important step.

There were numerous friends and relatives from a distance in attendance, and they were the recipients of a large and costly list of presents which we will publish next week. The Hawkeye Cornet band was present and furnished some of the excellent music to the delight of all present. Their magnificent tables were richly spread with all delicacies of the season and ample justice was done thereto.

We understand Mr and Mrs. Hunt will at once commence housekeeping in the residence recently occupied by J.K. McQuilkin.
