Dubuque Daily Telegraph – April 4, 1901

Waterloo Reporter, April 4. – William Zollicoffer, of Dubuque, is moving his family to Waterloo, and they will occupy one of the Loomer cottages on East Fourth Street, near Lime. The family and a carload of family good arrived yesterday. Miss Zollicoffer, a sister, is also here and will spend the summer. Mr. Zollicoffer is a traveling representative of the Lawther Wholesale Confectionary establishment in Dubuque. Waterloo has a cordial welcome for all traveling men, and she confesses a special likening for those who represent Dubuque institutions. Dubuque was always good to Waterloo, and we feel like giving a hospital welcome to all residents of the Key City who find it advantageous to locate in our midst. Waterloo won’t mind annexing the whole Dubuque municipality.
