Missing the Baby Saturday Afternoon.
A Call for Assistance. Found Ba-
by Drowned In Jar.--------
Mr. and Mrs. Denny Grovenburg
lost their infant son last Saturday af-
ternoon by drowning. Mrs. Grovenburg,
who is a daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Put Leffingwell and who is living
with her parents, missed the baby
for a moment and began a search for
it, but not finding it called for the
neighbors and soon quite a number
were hunting the premises. One of Mrs. Grovenburg's little brothers
while passing a jar that was
kept for swill, noticed two little feet
above the water and called for help.
The baby boy bad fallen head first
into the jar and was beyond rustication
when found. He was a bright
infant nineteen months old and just
commencing to walk. The funeral was held from the home
Sabbath afternoon. The parents and
Mr. and Mrs. Leffingwell have the
sympathy of tbe whole neighborhood.Card Of Thanks
We wish to thank all our kind
friends and neighbors, who so kindly
helped us during our sad bereavement.Mr and Mrs. Denny Grovenburg.
Note: Parents of Alvah Roy Grovenburg were Dennis William "Denny" Grovenburg, Sr. and Viola Maude Leffingwell Miller
