B. F. MENDENHALL

Benjamin F. Mendenhall of Audubon
passed away Monday following
a week's illness. He was eighty
years of age and has been a resident
of this County twenty-three years.
He enlisted and served throughout
the Civil War. Three daughters
and one son are left to mourn his
loss. They are Mrs. Michael Smith
and Mrs. Oscar Johnson of near
Exira, Mrs. Jack Williamson of Indiana
and Mont Mendenhall of
Colorado. Sympathy is extended
the bereaved relatives.

Note: Parents of Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Mendenhall were Nathan Mendenhall and Mary Etta Beech. Ben was married 1st to Alice Rebecca Larison and 2nd to Sarah E. Vickery.
