Oakfield and Brayton

DIED.
The infant daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Nels Thompson of Brayton,
which was born to them Dec. 14,1903
The little one awakened its mother
in the night by its cries and arising
she gave it some simple remedy
returned to her couch to rest and
sleep. The husband arose quite early
Friday morning having some im-
portant work to do, and in a short
time the mother arose and went to
turn the infant on its side as was her
custom when not noticing any move-
ment of the little form called her
husband with a light and one glance
only sufficed to tell hem that the
little spirit had returned to the God
who gave it and was safely in the
arms of "Him" who said "Suffer
little children to come unto me and
forbid them not for of such is the
kingdom of Heaven", The sorely
bereaved parents have the sympathy
of the community in this their sad
trial and affliction. The funeral was
conducted by Rev. Chas. Sloan and
the remains were tenderly borne to
the Oakfield Cemetery and laid to
rest with the many that have gone
before.

Note: Parents of Beula M. Thompson were Nelson Marinus "Nels" Thompson and Clarissa Maud Kelly.
