Mr. Bradley Beers, an early pioneer of
Audubon county well known to many
of the older setters among our readers,
died at his home in Greel(e)y township,
Audubon county, a few days ago.

Note: Parents of Bradley Beers were Jonathan Beers and Amelia Wakeman. He was married to Hannah G. Eells.
Bradley Beers gravestone at the Exira Cemetery has his death year as 1879, as does the History of Audubon and Shelby County (1889), however this 1880 newspaper reported his recent death, and the History of Audubon and Shelby County states "In 1880 he erected a large frame residence, which is one of the finest homes in that part of the county."
