Injuries Are Fatal
To Pioneer of County

John Lovelace, pioneer resident of
Audubon county, died Tuesday in
Audubon. He was badly injured in
a fall three weeks ago, and had
since been cared for at the home of
his niece, Mrs. Charles Jones.

He had been a resident of Audu-
bon 53 years. He is survived by
one son, Oliver of Saskatchewan,
Canada.

Funeral services were held today
at 3:30 at the First Presbyterian
church, the Rev. W. Z. Allen offi-
ciating. Burial will be at Winterset.
