Mrs. Carl Dahl Funeral
Held This Afternoon

Funeral services were held at the
Oakhill church at two o'clock this af-
ternoon for Mrs. Carl Dahl with the
Rev. Ludwig Mehr in charge. Burial
was in Oakhill cemetery.

Mrs. Dahl was born in the island of
Lolland, Denmark, August 29, 1881.
In her native land she was confirmed
in the Lutheran faith and was married
to Jens Thorsen. In 1914, they came
to the United States settling at Ra-
cine, Wisconsin, where the husband
and a boy, aged four years, died a
short time afterward. In 1917, she
was united im marriage to Carl Dahl
of southeast of this place (Exira). Her death
occurred October 22 at Clarinda, where
she had been a patient in the hospital
since January.

She leaves to mourn her loss, the
husband and two children, Henry and
Walter. Also a stepson, Einar. She
was a good and faithful wife and a
loving mother. May she find eternal
peace with God.

Note: Her parents were Lars Peter Hansen and Marie Hansen.
