LOCAL ITEMS

Mrs. Clyde Freeman received word
last week of the passing of her father,
James Barhan, at his home at Benalto,
Alberta, Canada. Mr. Barhan and
family were residents of Audubon
county for many years, going to Can-
ada in 1911 where they have since
lived. He leaves his wife and five
children, all of whom live in Canada,
with the exception of Mrs. Freeman.
