Former Minister's Son
Accidentally Killed

A report from Denver, Colorado,
states that Philip, the fourteen year
old son of Rev. J. P. Christiansen,
fell from a 120 foot high cliff near
Colorado Springs, Sunday, August
19th, and was instantly killed.
With his folks he was enjoying
the view when suddenly his hat
flew off and making a grasp at it
he lost his balance and fell.

The boy was born at Audubon,
where his father was pastor many
years, of the Danish Lutheran
church. He also served the Exira
and Hamlin churches for a number
of years.
