April 11, 1941Dr. Samuel Gibson, Formerly of Andrew, Dies in Texas
Dr. Samuel Gibson, 52, a World war veteran, passed away at the Veterans hospital in Kenville, Texas, on Monday, April 14, at 11:30 a.m. following a several months illness.
Dr. Gibson was born in Andrew on June 15, 1888, a son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Gibson. He was a veterinarian and upon his return from the World war in 1919 he went to Randolph, Nebr., to reside. Left to mourn his loss are his widow and three children, Wm., Robert and Ruth Ann, all at Randolph, Nebr.; his mother, Mrs. R. C. Gibson of Andrew; two sisters, Mrs. D. C. Bell of Madelia, Minn., and Miss Lois Gibson of Exira, Iowa, and a brother, Walter Gibson of Milwaukee, Wis.
The body was taken to the family home in Randolph, Nebr., where funeral services will be held.
