A quiet little home wedding took
place at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Chas. Hawk Wednesday evening,
when their daughter, Rose, and
Samuel Pearson of Oakfield, were
united in marriage. Only the
family and a couple of the lady's
friends were present, E. C. Whitaker
officiating. Miss Rose has grown
to womanhood in this community
and is a young woman who has the
respect of her friends and associates
and will make for her life companion
a helper in the truest sense
of the word. The groom is known
to many of the people in this community
as an industrious young
man, and with this splendid helpmate
by his side they can launch
out upon the sea of life and battle
with the billows of adversity and
thus make a safe journey into the
harbor of joy and success. The
young couple go to housekeeping
on a farm about a mile south of
Oakfield. We extend our best
wishes.

Note: Parents of Rose Hannah Hawk were Charles Conrad Hawk and Hannah Maria "Annie" Hamlin.
Parents of Samuel M. Pearson were Elijah Lawrence Pearson and Adeline Mary Brinkerhoff.
