The marriage of Mr. Lutie Wells
and Miss Addie Dill took place,
Monday afternoon, July 7th, in Atlantic,
Rev. Pressnall performing
the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Mardeson and Mrs. Earl Dunfee
were present to witness the marriage,
both ladies being sisters of
the groom.Mr. Wells was a son of Henry
Wells and has made his home here
for years. About two weeks ago
he was discharged from service several
months of which he spent in
France. His bride is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dill of this city
and is a very fine young lady.
After the ceremony the happy
couple went to the Tom Mardeson
farm, where they will reside. The
hosts of friends wish them happiness
and prosperity in their married
life.Note: Parents of Addie Lillian Dill were William Edwin Dill and Mary Ellen Hogan.
Parents of Lucius Daniel "L.D. or Lutie" Wells were Henry Clay Wells and Mary Jane Bealer.
