OAKFIELD --- BRAYTON

At the home ot the bride's parents,
in south Exira township, just east of
Oakfield, Mr. Chas. B. Oaks of Chatsworth,
Iowa and Miss Orra I. Lowers
on April 2nd 1901, Rev. Wilcox
officating.

This worthy couple will begin
housekeeping at his home in Sioux
county on a farm.

The bride is a young lady, who has
made her home on a farm with her
parents and is a lady with a spotless
character going forth into the world
to fight the battle of life, not alone
but side by side with a young man,
who is noted for his stability of char-
act(e)r, and his push, energy and ability
to mount high up the ladder of fame.

This worthy young couple departed
for their new home, the first of the
week.

Note: Parents of Ora Isabel Lowers were Samuel E. "Sam" Lowers and Frances Ellen "Nelli" Chase.
Parents of Charles B. Oakes were George W. Oakes and Elizabeth Mack.
