COUPLE MARRIEDThe marriage of Josephine L.
Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.
P. Clark of Brayton, and Manning
Leroy Swanson, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Isaac Swanson, also of Brayton,
took place at Audubon at the
Presbyterian parsonage at 5:30,
March 26th, Rev. E. B. Cousins
officiating.The bride looked very pretty in
a suit of navy blue tricotine, while
the groom wore the usual blue serge.A friend of the bride, Miss Olive
Akers of Exira, acted as bridesmaid
while a brother of the bride, Hobart
M. Clark was best man.They will be at home to their
many friends and relatives on a
farm recently purchased by the
bridegroom, near Brayton. The
Journal extends congratulations.Note: Parents of Josephine L. Clark were Riley Ponder "Dick" Clark and Hattie J. Reed.
Parents of Manning Leroy Swanson were Carl Isaac Swanson and Maude F. Cramlet.
