GILL-HEATH NUPTIALS

Wednesday Sept., 3, 1919, Chas.
Gill and Miss Esther Heath, accompanied
by Mesdames Hazel Morgan
and Bonnie Knowles, sisters of the
groom, hied themselves to Atlantic,
procurred a marriage license and
were joined in wedilock at the M.
E. parsonage by the Methodist
minister, the sisters of the groom
being witnesses to the ceremony.

The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Gill and is an energetic
and likable young man. He has retently
returned from overseas duty
where he spent three years with the
Canadian Forces, doing valiant service
for his country, having received
an Honor medal, a personal presentation
from the King of England,
also several other medals and badges
of honor.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Heath, is a lovable
and accomplished young lady, who
will make a willing help-mate for
the man of her choice. The happy
couple have hosts of friends in Audubon
county, who with the Journal,
join in extending well wishes for a
successful and happy married life.
They are expected to return here
today and intend making Exira
their future home.

Note: Parents of Clara Esther Heath were Henry Milton Heath and Mary Belle "Mae" Kline.
Parents of Charles William "Charlie" Gill were Thomas Pendall "Tom" Gill and Sarah Elizabeth "Sallie" Harwood.
