A. B. Houston met with a curious
accident one day this week. While at
the office he bumped his knee against
the desk and when went home that
night Mr. Houston found a piece of
machine needle so deeply imbeeded in
his knee that he could not extricate it.
Uncle Ap's leg swelled so that for a
few days he could not get out o' doors.

Note: Parents of Appolonius Bohun "Ap" Houston (1823-1902) were Oswald Houston and Anna Louisa Shaw. He was married to Nancy Bridges.
