OAKFIELD --- BRAYTON

We clip the following from the
Anita Tribune in regard to the Stein-
metz-Sisler wedding.

One of the prettiest weddings of the
season was celebrated Wednesday
evening, April, 24, 1901, at the home
of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
B. F. Sisler in Benton township; the
contracting parties being their daugh-
ter, Myrtle E. and Mr. Fred Stein-
metz. The ceremony was performed
by Rev. C. H. Miller, of Casey, in the
presence of many guests. The bride
was attired in a most beautiful cream
satin, with satin ribbon and passamen-
tre trimmings, and the groom wore
conventional black. Miss Nellie Turn-
er and Chas. S. Baker attended the
bridal party. Following the cere-
mony a sumptuous supper was served.
These worthy young people need no
introduction, both have lived in this
community since childhood. Fred
has purchased a farm in Lincoln
township, where he and his bride will
go to house-keeping at once.

Note: Parents of Myrtle E. Sisler were Benjamin F. Sisler and Susan "Sue" Kiester.
Parent of Fred Steinmetz were John Steinmetz and Cynthia Martin.
