Mrs. Roxy Davis' fine horse, that
had just recovered from a contact with
a barbwire fence, was turned out last
Saturday for the first time and imme-
diately ran into another fence, lacerat-
ing itself in a terrible manner. Mr.
William Walker dressed the animal's
wound and says many moons must
grow dim before the wound is healed
again.

Note: Parents of Roxie Mary (Dodge) Davis were Boynton Grover Dodge and Sophronia Jane Smith. She was married to Sanford Davis.
Parents of William Walker were Joseph Walker and Catharine Nugent. He was married to Nancy Jane Bowen.
