Maxine Mardesen Weds
Hamlin Youth Thursday

Miss Maxine Mardesen, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mar-
desen of Exira, and Merrill Sun-
berg, son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Sunberg of Hamlin, were united
in marriage last Thursday after-
noon at the Christian church par-
sonage in Exira. Rev. Chas. R.
Hagee read the ceremony in the
presence of Mr. and Mrs. George
Gregersen, sister and brother-in-
law of the bride, and Mrs. C. R.
Hagee.

The bride is a graduate of the
Exira high school with the class
of '28 and the groom has been
engaged in farming with his
father.

They will make their home on a
farm two miles northeast of Ham-
lin after March 1.

Note: Parents of Maxine Mardesen were Thomas "Tom" Mardesen and Grace L. Wells.
Parents of Merrill John Sunberg were John Sunberg and Nancy Ann Owen.
