LOCAL ITEMS

"Dad" Phelps (1846-1933) had the misfortune
to get thrown off the grader last
week and received a deep gash in
the side of his head and had his back
severly wrenched and bruised. Mr.
Phelps is past eighty years of age,
but thinks he is still too young to
give up active work. He is getting
along nicely now and will be about
again as usual in a few days.
