EXIRA COUPLE TODAY--------
LeRoi Henry and Miss Carolyn Klever
Are Married at Eleven O'clock
by the Groom's Father--------
A very pretty wedding ceremony
was performed at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. L. F. Klever in this city, this
morning, at eleven o'clock, in the pres-
ence of thirty invited guests when
Miss Carolyn Klever was united in
holy wedlock to LeRoi Henry.Preceding the ceremony the groom's
brother, Rodman L.Henry, of Kansas
City, Mo., sang "I Love You Truly."
Then to the strains of Mendolsohn's
wedding march, played by the bride's
uncle, Arthur M. Watterson of Omaha,
the couple, attended by Mrs. Ruby
Wells Crow of Des Moines, as matron
of honor, and Lloyd C. Klever of
Exira, brother of the bride, took their
places under a canopy of roses.Mr. L. F. Klever, father gave the
bride away, and the nuptial vows were
given by Rev. Chas. E. Henry, of
Kansas City, father of the groom.The bride was beautifully gowned
in a pale pink georgette over satin
and carried a shower boquet of Ophelia
roses, while the matron of honor was
charming in a peach colored gown of
flat crepe, and wore a corsage of
sweet peas.Following the ceremony a delight-
ful three course breakfast was served
and immediately after the bride and
groom left on a motor trip through
Northern Minnesota, Canada and the
Great Lakes region.Mr. and Mrs. Henry will reside in
Exira and will be at home to their
friends after July first.The out of town guests were Rev.
and Mrs. Chas. E. Henry, daughter,
Keota, Mrs. Lee K. Davis, Mr. and
Mrs. R. L. Henry, all of Kansas City,
Mr. and Mrs. Yater Henry of Eldora-
do Kansas; Mrs. J. L. Kester of Cedar
Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Watter-
son of Omaha, Nebr., and Mrs. A. L.
Petersen of Hamill, S. D.
