FORMER EXIRA BOY MARRIED---------
Following is an account of the mar-
riage of Lyle Siebert, a former Exira
boy, which took place at San Diego,
California:" 'Who giveth this woman in mar-
riage to this man?' 'I do.' answered
Jos. C. Irwin of 1821 Madison Ave,
when his niece Ruth M. Irwin was
joined in holy wedlock to Mr. Lyle D.
Seibert. The wedding ceremony was
held in the Ladies Parlor of Trinity
M. E., church, corner of Thorn and
Grim avenue, at 6:30 Saturday eve-
ning, May 15. The parents and rela-
tives of both bride and groom were
present. The bride carried a beautiful
boquet. The ring ceremony was ob-
served. The bridesmaid was Mrs.
Merian Grouno and Mr. William
Grouno was best man."The bride is one of San Diego's
choice young women, a capable busi-
ness woman and very active in Chris-
tian service at Trinity church. The
groom is a member of the Trinity's
fine orchestra, and is also an employee
of the Dixie Lumber and Supply Co.
Mr. Siebert has just completed and
furnished a beautiful home at 2720
Cooper avenue to which they drove
immediately following the ceremony."All friends of the young couple
rejoice with them in the happy con-
sumation of their friendship, and pre-
dict for them a happy future. Rev.
D. S. Morrison of 3745 Grim avenue
was the officiating clergyman, due to
the absence of the regular pastor."The guests were Mr. and Mrs. A.
Seibert, parents of the groom; Mr.
and Mrs. J. C. Irwin, uncle and aunt
of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Pos-
ten and daughter, Marjorie; Mr. and
Mrs. P. H. Donahue, Mr. and Mrs. T.
H. Seibert, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Irwin
and daughter, Betty; Mrs. Olive Pease
and son, Douglas; Miss Kathryn Mc-
Sparron, Leo Seibert and Mr. and
Mrs. Williiam Grouno.
